Welcome to the Canadian National Institute of Health Student Dental Hygiene Clinic.

Terms and Conditions

By accessing or using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Services

We offer dental hygiene services provided by students under the supervision of licensed dental professionals as part of their clinical training.
Services include assessments, dental cleanings, sealants (as needed), radiographs (as needed), whitening trays/sports mouth guard, and oral health education.

2. Promotional Offers

The ‘Free First Visit’ promotion is available to all patients—new or returning—who have not previously redeemed this offer.
Each individual is eligible to use this promotion once.

A “visit” includes the full span of appointments required to complete the client’s initial assessment and cleaning, which may take 2–4 visits.

Promotional offers are subject to availability and may be modified or discontinued at any time without prior notice.
Only one promotional offer may be used per person.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or 4–17 years old and accompanied by a parent/guardian to receive services.
All services are by appointment only.

4. Health Information

Clients must complete a health history form and update it at each appointment.
This information is required for safety and treatment purposes, and must be accurate and complete.
This information is mandatory as per the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario.

5. Student Supervision

All procedures are performed by students enrolled in the Dental Hygiene Program and are closely supervised by registered professionals.
Treatment times may be longer than typical dental hygiene visits.

6. Payments

After the first visit, fees apply to subsequent appointments. As of July 16, 2025, the standard fee for each additional appointment is:

  • $40 for adult clients (includes assessments plus recommended interventions, such as radiographs, dental cleaning, sealants, polish, fluoride, referrals, etc.)
  • $15 for child clients 4–17 years old (includes assessments plus recommended interventions, such as radiographs, dental cleaning, sealants, polish, fluoride, referrals, etc.)
  • $50 for set of whitening trays
  • $50 for whitening gel
  • $50 for sports mouth guard

7. Cancellations

Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule.
Frequent missed appointments may result in loss of eligibility for future appointments.

8. Disclaimer

CNIH reserves the right to refuse service to any individual for any reason, including incomplete health history, contraindications to treatment, or failure to comply with clinic policies.
